Next evolution of office: Tesla car share service launches for tenants at Sydney Place
- 19 Jun 2023
The three electric vehicles are Outbound’s largest deployment so far and its first commercial building partnership, and represents another step in the city’s transition towards a greener and more sustainable future.
The Electric Car Club will reinvent the way that tenants at Salesforce Tower are able to travel though the city, from offsite business meetings or errands to weekends away, offering a premium and low emissions transportation experience from the convenience of their office.
Tenants will be able to reserve, pay and access support through the Outbound app, and even lock, unlock and drive the vehicles through their phones.
Sydney’s tallest commercial tower, located within Lendlease’s Sydney Place precinct at Circular Quay, is home to anchor tenant Salesforce, in addition to Jones Lang LaSalle (JLL), Tourism Australia, Greenhouse by Investible, The Executive Centre, Wellington Management and more. Salesforce Tower is now 90 per cent leased, with tenants continuing to move in throughout this year.
As the precinct nears completion, Sydney Place recently welcomed 15 new retailers in a network of laneways on the ground plane, with food and beverage heavy hitters Joel Best of Bar Besuto, Matt Whiley of Re and Luke Whearty of Byrdi, set to open bars and restaurants mid this year. The iconic and much anticipated Jacksons on George is scheduled to open in September.
