1880 Boston Road
Lendlease was selected by Foxy Management to provide construction management services for 1880 Boston Road, 123,000 square foot affordable senior housing development.
The project added eight stories to an existing 1-story building occupied by a health and wellness center leased and operated by the United Cerebral Palsy Associations of New York State. The project provides 167 affordable apartments including 66 studios and 101 one-bedroom apartments.
1880 Boston Road is designed to meet Enterprise Green Communities criteria, with a host of planned sustainable features including EnergyStar appliances, high-efficiency boilers and hot water heating systems. Residents of the building benefit from the New York City Housing Authority's commitment to provide project-based Section 8 rental subsidies, allowing residents to pay no more than 30% of their income towards rent.
