Project outcome

Project scope in the new 14-story expansion included construction of 84 new independent living units, 32 assisted living units, eight memory support units and wellness and common spaces adjacent to the existing community. Additionally, a new rehabilitation center and clinic was constructed.

State-of-the-art amenities include a wellness and fitness center, indoor pool, aerobics/yoga studio, a 180-seat theatre, dining room, cafe, library, meeting rooms, art studio and beauty salon.

The project is pursuing LEED Certification.

The Hallmark Wellness Renovation: Lendlease provided construction management services for the demolition of first floor apartments for conversion into a Wellness Center, Sales and Marketing Suite, Terrace Room, Work Room and Restrooms. In addition, the project consists of renovations and finish upgrades to the Lobby, Foyer, Reception Desk and first floor corridors.

Originally constructed in Houston, Texas in 1963, Brazos Towers at Bayou Manor is located between Meyerland, West University and the Medical Center.
