Campbell Crossing WiFi Networks

Lendlease's military family housing community, Campbell Crossing, located on Fort Campbell, Kentucky, required a WiFi Mesh Network to serve over 4,000 residences. This network would provide data connectivity for all Building Energy Management System (BEMS) sensors and gateways installed in residential units, and provide Wi-Fi connectivity for the project company maintenance employees for dispatch, work order creation and submission, email, and instant messaging throughout the community.

Project outcome

This network would provide data connectivity for all Building Energy Management System (BEMS) sensors and gateways installed in residential units, and provide Wi-Fi connectivity for the project company maintenance employees for dispatch, work order creation and submission, email, and instant messaging throughout the community.

Lendlease managed the Radio Frequency (RF) Engineering Design, oversaw the mesh network hardware selection and is supporting the implementation and ongoing managed services for the network. The network consists of over 400 antennas located on the residences with approximately 100 fixed wireless nodes injecting backhaul into the neighborhoods.
