The new facility, which is located on an approximately one acre site on Northwestern Medicine's downtown Chicago campus, houses seven levels of diagnostic and testing space including two levels of outpatient surgery, one level of imaging, a musculoskeletal institute and seven levels of physician medical offices and exam suites.

The highly functional Outpatient Care Pavilion achieved LEED Gold Certification and features a state-of-the-art infrastructure, MEP system, technology and security. The building consists of an underground loading dock, 568-car parking garage at the base, a main public lobby and entrance, as well as retail space on the first and second levels.

Additionally, the Outpatient Care Facility is physically and operationally integrated into the existing buildings on the campus via an underground tunnel and second floor bridge connection to the Feinberg Pavilion and a bridge to the existing Erie/Ontario parking structure.
