Lumina
Lendlease provided construction management at risk services to Tishman Speyer on their high-rise project in the vibrant and dense San Francisco district of SOMA.
Project outcome
Lumina is comprised of four residential structures that contain 656 residential units resting on a common sub-structure. The four residential structures consist of Plaza A, a 9-story structure, Tower B, a 42-story structure, Plaza C, a 9-story structure and Tower D, a 37-story structure. The primary use of the project is residential housing with ground floor retail, below grade basement parking, and amenities which include valet service, fitness center, indoor pool/spa, saunas, theater, children's playroom, game room, club lounge, business center, conference rooms, and board rooms.
Lumina was built using elevated post-tensioned reinforced cast in place slabs with reinforced concrete columns, beams, and shearwalls resting on a mat foundation. The exterior façade primarily incorporates a curtain wall system from Thailand.
The project received LEED-NC Silver certification.
