The Liddel
Lendlease provided construction management services for The Liddel, a seven-story, 56-unit condominium building on Los Angeles' prestigious 'Wilshire Corridor'.
Project outcome
Designed like a contemporary boutique hotel, amenities include fitness facility/yoga studio, meditation garden with fountain, club room with bar and fireplace, wine tasting and storage room, corporate board room, private dining room, multipurpose room, chef's kitchen, catering kitchen, valet parking and a dog run. The rooftop patio provides outdoor kitchen space, fireplace and spectacular views of Westwood and the Santa Monica Mountains.
The units are north/south oriented, with the northern facing units featuring expansive 180-degree views from Hollywood to Santa Monica and the southern facing units offering city views of the surrounding high-rises. The units range from 1,031 to 2,706 square feet in size, featuring one- to three-bedrooms and 1.5 to 3.5 bathrooms. The Penthouses feature one to three bedrooms and up to 2,706 square feet of open-plan living, many with private rooftop terraces.
The project team was in constant contact with neighboring businesses and residents to keep them informed of upcoming work, invite them for site tours and events, coordinate lane closures, etc.
